Don’t get strung out (“by the way that I look”) if you’re asked “are you a virgin?” the first time you go to Rocky. For the uninitiated, a “virgin” is someone who hasn’t yet seen the Rocky Horror Picture Show in the cinema (theater to you Americans…) – there is some debate over whether watching it at home on video counts, but it’s generally thought that it doesn’t. :>

So what are you going to do about that, eh?

Well, chances are unless you’re a loner or a tourist you’re going to be taken along (willingly or unwillingly) by a Rocky regular or at least non-virgin. And that there’s going to be some sort of virgin “sacrifice” after which you’re declared no longer a Rocky virgin. And then you can start intoducing other virgins. Etc. At the risk of pinching an idea from Jeanette Winterson’s book “Oranges Are Not The Only Fruit”, you could say that if each person introduced two virgins to Rocky, the whole would would be RHPS-initiated within ten years.
